A few projects that I have done throughout my Year 2 Academic year in Temasek Polytechnic

LIFECYCLE

This project was located based off the existing Commonwealth drive rented blocks at Tanglin Halt. We are to create a space for the increasing number of elderly population in Singapore.

I have chosen the aspect of Joint mobility issues that most elderly experience. From the location of the park connector and the number of cyclists in the area, I thought of having a bicycle workshop for job opportunities and a indoor physiotherapy area for the elderly have close supervision in order to get better.

ONE. TAKEN. STUDIOS

One.Taken.Studios

One.Taken.Studios is based off our studio back at school. We were think of two professions that we want to focus on to give them the spotlight for a space to have their creative juices flow.

I chose a director and actor and I have decided to divide the space into two areas private and general where the actors and directors be at respectively.

Temasek Polytechnic has design courses that focused on tv production such as Digital Film and Product design, so I have decided to have a collaborative effort to have a space where we all come together and work with professional clients.

YEAR 3 PROJECT

First studio project as a Year 3 student

P.O.V
(Singapore Discovery Centre Renovation Project)

Temasek Polytechnic was chosen by Singapore Discovery Centre (SDC) to design a new revamped space to attract more visitors (local and foreigners) to entertain and educate them about Singapore's history through our country's lines of defense.

My group chose to have a storyline of Past, Present, Future where we remember, embrace, envision respectively to learn more about Singapore's efforts in making Singapore a better place for everyone.

In the SDC, we are given three spaces to work on, and I am given the corridor where it symbolises future in the storyline. We decided to depict the best idea of Singapore's future is being more sustainable to be more self sustaining in our own economy and food produce.
